Private by design

Your video never leaves your device — nothing is uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone. That makes these tools safe for sensitive footage you would never hand to a random online converter.

No watermark, no signup

Every export is clean and completely free. No account, no email, no trial, and no resolution locked behind a paywall.

Hardware-fast

WebCodecs taps your GPU for decoding and encoding, so a 1080p crop, resize or trim is typically faster than real time — with no server round-trip or upload wait.

Everything runs in your browser

Pixlane's video tools use the browser's native WebCodecs API for hardware-accelerated decoding and encoding — the same pipeline a desktop editor relies on. The AI tools, from face blur to background removal, upscaling and stabilization, run their neural networks on-device through WebAssembly.

Because the entire pipeline is local, your footage is never uploaded, there is no processing queue, and there is no file-size policy beyond what your own device can handle. Pick a tool above to start — drop in an MP4 or MOV and your edit happens instantly, privately, and without a watermark.

Frequently asked questions

Are these video tools really free?

Yes — every video tool is completely free with no watermark, no signup and no account. There are no premium tiers or hidden export limits beyond the on-device processing caps noted on each tool.

Do my videos get uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser using WebCodecs and WebAssembly, so your footage never leaves your device. That keeps it private and means there is no upload wait.

What video formats are supported?

MP4 and MOV work everywhere, and several tools (trim, audio extraction) handle them losslessly. WebM and other formats are supported through your browser's built-in decoder, re-encoding only when needed.

Is there a file size or length limit?

Container tools — trim, crop, resize, speed — handle clips up to a few hundred MB comfortably. The AI tools cap clip length per run (8–60 seconds depending on the tool) because every frame runs through a neural network on your device.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The tools run entirely in a modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox on desktop and most mobile browsers. There is nothing to download or install.

Do the tools work on mobile?

Yes. The studio is responsive and runs on phones and tablets. The heavier AI tools depend on your device's memory, so very long clips are best processed on a laptop.
