Store Meter Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: July 12, 2026
The short version: Store Meter analyzes store footage on your iPhone or iPad. Pixlane does not receive your videos, camera frames, analysis results, face images, advertising identifiers, or usage history. The app does not perform identity recognition or face matching.
1. Scope and operator
This policy applies to the Store Meter iOS and iPadOS application (bundle identifier com.pixlane.storemeter) published by Pixlane. Questions can be sent to support@pixlane.media.
2. Information Store Meter processes
When you choose to use a feature, Store Meter may process the following information locally on your device:
- Video files you select from the photo library and frames supplied by the camera.
- Movement tracks, entry and exit events, heatmap points, busy zones, and checkout-wait estimates.
- Broad age-range, gender-mix, and mood estimates used only as anonymous, aggregate store-level insights.
- Camera-profile names, flow or checkout areas you draw, analysis settings, subscription-entitlement state, and generated reports.
These are operational estimates and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Store Meter does not create a customer identity record.
3. Face-related processing
Some optional aggregate insight features transiently locate visible face regions on-device to estimate broad age range, gender mix, or mood trend. Store Meter does not perform identity recognition, face matching, biometric identification, or authentication. It does not build or store a face template, face embedding, or named profile. Individual estimates are combined into anonymous session-level summaries.
4. What leaves your device
Store footage, camera frames, analysis results, reference images, reports, and app preferences are not uploaded to Pixlane. Store Meter does not include an advertising SDK, cross-app tracker, third-party behavioral analytics SDK, or Pixlane account system.
Your device may communicate directly with Apple for App Store downloads, subscription purchases, entitlement verification, review prompts, crash or diagnostic services you have chosen to share with Apple, and operating-system services. Apple handles that information under Apple’s Privacy Policy; Pixlane does not receive your store footage through those services.
5. Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose a live preview or camera-based analysis.
- Photo library: used to access store videos you explicitly select.
- Notifications: optional; used for analysis progress or reminders you enable.
- Background processing: used to continue an analysis the operating system permits to run.
You can change permissions at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
6. Storage, retention, and deletion
Saved analyses, report artifacts, camera profiles, settings, and related reference images are stored inside the app’s local container. Selected source videos remain under your control in the photo library unless you remove them there. Store Meter keeps local results until you delete individual analyses, use the in-app data reset, or uninstall the app. Device backups may contain app data according to your Apple backup settings.
7. Subscriptions
Store Meter offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewable Premium subscriptions using Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment details and manages the subscription. The app reads the entitlement information needed to unlock Premium; Pixlane does not operate a separate payment server for Store Meter. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
8. Sharing and sale
Pixlane does not sell, rent, share, or use Store Meter footage or analysis results for advertising, model training, profiling, or data brokerage because that content is not transmitted to Pixlane.
9. Children
Store Meter is a business operations tool and is not directed to children. It should be used only on footage you are lawfully permitted to analyze and in accordance with applicable notice, employment, privacy, and surveillance laws in your location.
10. Security and your responsibilities
On-device processing reduces network exposure, but security also depends on your device passcode, operating-system updates, backup configuration, and how exported reports are shared. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required notice or consent before recording or analyzing a location.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when Store Meter’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes may also be communicated in the app or App Store listing.
12. Contact and terms

Store Meter uses the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
